How to install the shower tray:
| It is best to fit the shower tray once the cement layer has set; this will ensure that support is available on all sides of the shower tray, and there is no need for temporary supporting structures. |
| 1. Place the shower tray on the floor – on the exact location where you want to install it – and mark the perimeter (A and B); having noted the measurements, you can then proceed to work on the cement layer to obtain the correct dimensions for the shower tray (4-5 cm of depth are needed to fit the basin). | |
| 2. Sit the shower tray (without any sealant, grout or cement layer) to make sure that it is perfectly level and make sure that the sealing structures are perfectly adhering to the plaster. Then measure the distance (C and D) between the wall and the center of the shower tray to ensure proper fitting of the trap later. Remove the floor level shower tray and – making sure to follow the measurements previously noted - connect the trap to the drainage pipe work. | |
| 3. Prepare a layer of soft sealant (cement, mortar, or similar) to cover the base of the site obtained to place the shower tray. Use a layer of 4-5 cm of cement glue on the sides in order to fit the shower tray perfectly on the cement layer, making sure it is level. | |
| 4. Gently place the shower tray on the layer of sealant, making sure that the trap is perfectly placed and in line with the waste and pipes. Clean the gasket so that it is free of dirt. Make sure that the shower tray base is perfectly level. | |
| 5. Proceed with fitting the last piece of the trap following the detailed instructions provided. | |
| 6. Proceed with tiling as shown below. | |
| 7. The slip prevention rubber discs provided must be fitted on the steel supports located inside the basin. The steel supports must be adjusted before sitting the tray, to ensure that the total weight of the tray is equally spread among the supports. | |
| 8. Sit the tray within the basin upon the supports | |
